I started my Army career at Fort Knox as a M1A1 Armor crewman. After a few years I changed over to Public Affairs Broadcast Journalism (You can see some of my work here https://www.dvidshub.net/portf...) My time in the service is what fuels the phrase "Take the photo." I regret not having enough photos to look back on and that I could share with my family. Stories are great, but having a photo to go along with it makes the story even better. So, I encourage you to TAKE THE PHOTO!
